Farm Crisis Fund

The Farm Crisis Fund Helps Farmers and Ranchers experiencing an emergency such as floods, freezes and damage from high winds.

The process begins when you reach out.

  • We will then do an onsite inspection to tour the damage to your facility or crop within 24-48 hours of the request.

  • Quotes will be gathered and submitted to repair the damage.

  • The Board will review all the materials, and then a decision will be made.

  • If approved, you can expect to receive funding to repair the damage within a week.

Key Qualifiers for Approvals

  • Must be located in Collin, Grayson, Fannin, Denton, Hunt or Cooke counties.

  • Farm Crisis Funds are capped at $10,000.

  • Approval requires a site visit within 72 hours of application submission.

  • Must be a natural disaster or economic crisis (defined as circumstances outside of your control that threatens your ability to stay in business).
